Twitter has launched this TV spot to promote a fun incentive for fans to claim the Twitter World Cup. Goodby Silverstein & Partners created the TVC to celebrate online interaction during the tournament via the social networking site.

Twitter has reintroduced hashflag emoticons as part of the campaign and is encouraging fans to embed the patriotic icons within tweets.

Posting a hashtag in front of the relevant three-letter country codes - such as #ENG and #BRA - Twitter will then tally up posts with hashflags declaring the nation with the most supporters the winner of the Twitter World Cup. Vote for your nation here.
