US production company STORY has announced the signing of husband-and-wife directing team The Barkers for US commercial representation. The Barkers, aka Chris and Kristen Barker, are a Chicago-based duo who have previously helmed spots for brands including Microsoft, Kraft, Head & Shoulders, Google, United Airlines, Hewlett Packard and others. The pair started their career as commercial fashion photographers before expanding into commercials and branded content. The pair has won wide praise for work based on casual, youth-oriented lifestyle material.
