Dutch advertising agency 180 Amsterdam has announced the appointment of Ben Armistead as head of planning. Armistead joins from Wieden+Kennedy where he was responsible for global planning for Electronic Arts and Powerade, as well as regional planning for Nike. Prior to this, London-born Armistead has spent time as a senior planner at Dare. In his new role he will be responsible for taking an instrumental role in the agency’s business plans, as well as spearheading strategic excellence for brands such as asics, PlayStation and Qatar Airways.
