Hartley’s Jelly Pots: Jelly Wrangling

It's Friday, and Friday always feels like it has room for some oddness, and this new spot from Karmarama and Partizan director Chris Cairns perfectly fits that bill. It's a hard one to explain other than to say it features a group of out-of-control jellies trying to escape toys who are working together to put them into their pots. I know! 

The toys were brought to life via a combination of stop-motion and puppetry and the interesting 'voices' were provided by a mix of beatboxers, comedians and office staff. "The way Chris shot the film makes it look totally normal for jellies to run around chattering to themselves. That's just what jellies do when they're out of their pots," says creative director Sam Walker, and who are we to disagree?
