D&AD adds new Pencils to the case

D&AD CEO Tim Lindsay has announced an overhaul to the awards for 2015. The In Book and Nomination levels are to be replaced with a Wood Pencil (equivalent to bronze) and a Graphite Pencil (equivalent to silver). The new awards will come into effect from May 2015 at the Professional Awards Ceremony. To simplify everything, all historical awards will now be referred to by the new system. D&AD changed the awards to address the lack of understanding and the undervaluing of the In Book and Nomination.
