London-based advertising agency Gravity Road has announced the appointment of Ruairi Curran as its new head of planning. Curran joins the agency from the BBC World Service where he served as head of marketing. In the new role he will head up the agency’s planning output across its client base, which includes Sainsbury’s, Bacardi Global, Cadbury and Bauer Media. Curran’s appointment marks the agency’s third senior hire in the last six months, following the recent appointments of MD Katie Lee and creative partner Pete Connolly.
