Chemical Brothers: Sometimes I Feel So Deserted

Picture the scene: a bedraggled woman drags her seemingly broken leg through the desert.

She is desperate, alone and clearly struggling as she makes her way to a former petrol pump stationed between the abandoned sand dunes.

While the backdrop may seem all too familiar and set alarm bells ringing, especially for horror film fanatics – unbearable weather conditions, limited water, few known survivors and a musical sound that sets your own heart beating faster – the spot helmed by Pulse Films director Ninian Doff plays out an unexpected turn of events.

Channelling eerie sci-fi overtones, it’s not until the end of the video that it begins to make a bit more sense.
