Nike: Play Loud
Heavy rain, bad luck and poor performance is no excuse to quit a sport, instead it should be motivation.
If the summer blip of bad weather is getting you down and affecting your exercise routine, then use Wieden + Kennedy's latest ad as inspiration.
Unveiled earlier today, the 90-second spot Play Loud for Nike follows several young Korean athletes who perseve with sport as a way to beat the cynics.
Helmed by AG Rojas, the spot is narrated by Korean footie legend Lee Young-Pyo who plays an ironically critical character.
But despite his harsh and demotivating advice, the athletes prove that they will stop at nothing to achieve their goals and instead continue to defy him countlessly.
Nike has also launched Be Heard, a free messaging app available only in Korea in partnership with the KakaoTalk network.
Used to distribute the campaign, the app taps into the underlying theme of the campaign - giving kids the confidence to speak out and express themselves through sport. Kids are encouraged to share their #JustDoIt stories on the app which will later be distributed on social media, Pikicast and at some Nike Korea sporting events.
