UK- and US-based production company/creative think tank PRETTYBIRD welcomes a trio of French directors to its roster.

Fleur & Manu (left), Helmi (right) and Thomas Rhazi have been signed to the production company for UK representation, while simultaneously launching LA director Matt Lambert.

Biarritz-born Fleur & Manu have worked together since H5, about 17 years ago. Best known for their art direction on music videos, the directing duo have also dabbled in visual effects and album artwork – earning them international recognition.

Parisian photographer/director Helmi describes himself as an image maker, as each of his music videos creates a new concept. He has won a couple of awards for his work and is also part of the Pain’O’ChoKolat entertainment collective.

Former fashion photographer/director of photography Rhazi burst onto the directing scene with his music videos – most recently, Pusher for Alt J. He has also created award-winning work for Leo Burnett.

London/Berlin-based director Lambert is known for his varied approach – spanning narrative film, documentary, music and fashion. He recently created Keim, a photobook about gay youth culture. His clients include Dazed, i-D and the BBC.

To announce its expansion, PRETTYBIRD has teamed up with Division Paris to throw a launch party in London, where film projections will be screened. PRETTYBIRD adopts a multi-disciplinary approach, creating work across film, art, music and science and working with collaborators in LED mapping and system design and projection mapping.
