Nike gives a cold reception in this new spot from Wieden+Kennedy Portland starring some of its world-class athletes on the ultimate Snow Day.
Watch as football favourites Rob Gronkowski and Ndamukong Suh lead a team of peers through harsh conditions to a local tackle game against an opposing group who are ready to rumble in the cold.
The ad is shot by Biscuit Filmworks director Steve Rogers and kicks off the brand's #GetOutHere campaign that will see an extensive search to find the 48 most weather-defying athletes to compete in the Get Out Here Challenge, the ultimate cold-weather training experience, to be held in Chicago the week of 8 December 8 2015.
For the first time, Nike has added a function on its online store to allow consumers to search by weather conditions for gear this winter including: Freezing, Cold, Cool and Dark. Snow Day aired during Thursday Night Football in the US on 29 October.
