Cheil appoints Newman

Global advertising agency Cheil has appointed Richard Newman as Asia Pacific regional chief growth officer. Newman, who joins from McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific where he was regional chief marketing officer, will be based out of Singapore. In his new role he will be responsible for implementing and honing regional growth strategies, as well as building a culture of collaboration across Cheil’s global network of companies. Newman will report to Aaron Lau, president of international and Lotta Malm-Hallqvist, global vice president.
