Becoming an athlete is not as easy as it may look.
In this beautifully-shot and inspirational ad from 180 Amsterdam for athletic retailer ASICS, the reality of training and reaching pro levels is revealed.
Helmed by Smuggler's Henry Alex Rubin, the minute long spot merges still images with short moving clips, to create a montage-like effect and remind the average person that to truly qualify as an athlete, you have to want it more than the pleasures of daily life... and be prepared to give it all up in the name of sport.
