Born Dirty: Butter

Matt Devine of The Glue Society has directed this strangely addictive music video that sees a man break into an elaborate dance fuelled by blocks of butter from his fridge.

The promo, produced by Revolver, is set in a now defunct asylum where an inmate takes to the halls showing off his moves as the wardens attempt to shut down the show. Classically trained dancer, Neven Connolly, performed on an actual buttery floor for the shoot, making the sequence even more impressive.

Director Devine was approached last year to create a video to launch the new dance act and happily obliged to take on the open brief. The task was to go as "weird as you want as long as it has butter in it" and so with very little parameters he set about creating a dark comedic story featuring some impressive and fairly obscure choreography.
