J. Walter Thompson Worldwide has announced the appointment of Spence Kramer as CEO of J. Walter Thompson Atlanta, with immediate effect. In his new role, Kramer will be tasked with driving the strategic direction and growth of the office.
The appointment comes as Perry Fair, president and chief creative officer, prepares to leave the agency. In recent months, Fair has expressed his desire to return to California and will be assisting in the transition until 1 May 2016.
Kramer will report to Stefano Zunino, CEO of the Americas, J. Walter Thompson Company, and will work closely with J. Walter Thompson Atlanta’s chief operating officer, Marshall Lauck.
Most recently, Kramer was with Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where he served as the agency’s first global managing director, working to improve performance, operations and communications across the network’s six offices. He was also a key contributor to the global Infiniti automotive account win for the agency last year.
