Tribeca Film Festival Challenges You to Act
Win tickets to Tribeca’s 15th Film Festival in a new ad from JWT by acting to the ReActor machine.
If you’ve ever fancied yourself as a bit of an actor, then now might be your time to shine.
To mark the 15th year of the New York-based Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), JWT has created an interactive campaign encouraging film fans to try their hand at acting.
Launching today, the Tribeca Film Festival ReActor – a machine that uses technology to record voice and facial expressions – will tour the city and get people to re-enact their favourite movie scenes (below), such as the iconic When Harry Met Sally scene.
Participants will be judged and rated on their performances with the highest scorers securing free tickets for the festival and having their faces inserted into their reenacted movie scene.
“The Tribeca Film Festival has become a New York institution of creativity, innovation and storytelling,” said JWT’s CCO, Brent Choi. “We’re excited to bring the magic of the movies to the biggest audiences ever as we celebrate the festival’s 15th year.”
Supporting print ads have also been put up around the city, celebrating the festival’s birthplace, New York.
The festival will take place between April 13-24, so don’t forget to get your ticket online.
