Nike's latest campaign brings a story of contagious football to kids all over the world, sparking them to play brilliant by taking inspiration from French footballer Blaise Matuidi - a player who is emblematic of the brand's Spark Brilliance stance.
The 90-second film, helmed by Fleur & Manu of Division Paris, begins with a young Matuidi recalling a decisive moment of footballing brilliance from legendary former PSG and Nigerian player Jay-Jay Okocha back in the day and continues as the child grows older to inspires others himself.
The film's narrative culminates by underscoring football’s wider power to transcend boundaries, charting Matuidi’s emergence from all-action midfielder to charismatic cultural and style influencer of contemporary creatives, such as French hip-hop artist Niska.
The work is created by Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam and features the new French football kit that will be worn at the European Championships in June.
