With yesterday being International Cat Day, may we re-fur you to this totally cl-awesome campaign from adam&eve/DDB London?
Created for Temptations' new cat food campaign,Treat Them Too, the online film takes the form of a classic 80s pop video and has a band of plaintive pussies – The Electric Furs – covering Simple Minds’ 1985 hit Don’t You, Forget About Me, with new lyrics imploring owners to remember to buy their pets treats when they go shopping.
Directed by Pulse Films' Ninian Doff, the finished film was recorded to VHS tape, to create an authentic, grainy 80s look and has a great meowy finale.
Now that’s what we call mew-sic.
