Amsterdam -based advertising agency WE ARE Pi has appointed former VICE media global executive producer, Ravi Amaratunga, as the agency’s first head of content, as well as hired JaKenna Gilbert as its digital strategist.
Amaratunga is an award-winning content executive whose diverse career has spanned across digital media, advertising and broadcast television. At VICE Media, he oversaw the platform’s global video content and strategic business across fashion and luxury, growing fashion brand i-D to become the biggest youth fashion video channel on YouTube.
Gilbert joins the agency after many years working in brand, content, consumer engagement and digital infrastructure strategy. She gained this experience at top US-based agencies, like M80 and Burson-Marstellar.
