After 18 years in the industry that have seen her working as a copywriter, art director and global creative director (and, according to her new production company a cowgirl and stand-up comedian), Sarah Clift is joining both Academy and A+ as a director.
Before this signing, Clift has worked on content for brands like Adidas, Guinness, McDonald’s and Samsung. Most acclaimed of all, however, was her debut as a solo director deals with the ethical dilemma of a mother between her son and her politics and has had recognition across dozens of film festivals, with it picking up 50 laurel wreaths, a YDA Gold, a Lion nomination at Cannes and five Golds at Kinsale on its way across the world.
