McCann London has strengthened its creative team with a trio of senior hires.

Senior creatives Alex Dunning and Erik Uvhagen, formerly at Grey London, have delivered work for brands including Duracell, The Times and Volvo, formally partnered eight months ago, having worked on numerous successful projects together. Prior to meeting at Grey, Dunning worked in art direction at Weapon7 and Uvhagen was based in Sweden as a copywriter. The duo joins the creative team, led by Rob Doubal and Laurence Thomson, co-presidents and chief creative officers, to soak up new account wins and lend their creative talent to existing clients.

Meanwhile, Zena Bruges joins the agency in the newly appointed role of creative services director, following a 15-year career in creative business development. After running a successful interactive art and design studio, Bruges joined 101 London, now part of MullenLowe, as head of output in 2011. She later worked at The Future Laboratory as managing director, before becoming a full-time consultant and mentor, launching her own consultancy, The Business Side, in 2016.
