Colonel Blimp, originally the music video arm of Blink, has, in recent years under the leadership of Paul Weston, evolved to become a roster of young directors whose talent has not only been showcased in music videos but across the advertising industry as a whole.

Blink has always been at the forefront of new talent in the industry and merging the two rosters is, says Blink, a natural evolution, giving the market a more compelling and comprehensive spectrum of directors under one roster.

On the joint roster will be directors including Dougal Wilson, Truman & Cooper, Pedro Martin-Calero, Fred Rowson and The Bobbsey Twins From Homicide

The end of Colonel Blimp does not mean the end of music video at Blink and the the new-look proposition will, say the company, continue to produce creative, beautifully crafted and culturally significant work in both music videos and advertising.

Former Colonel Blimp EP, Weston, will preside over this new incarnation of Blink as MD, working together with partners James Bland, Michelle Jaffe and chairman James Studholme. Richard Grewe, former head of music video at Colonel Blimp, will continue in this role at the new Blink.
