Publicis Spain announces new CCO
Eduardo Marqués joins Publicis Spain as new chief creative officer.
Brazilian born Marqués will oversee all Publicis units based in Spain; namely Wysiwyg, Nurun and Publicis Emil.
Previously ECD at US agency 180LA, Marqués was part of the prestigious list ‘Top 40 under 40’ of Ad Age in 2017 and was ranked 13th among the 30 most creative people in advertising in 2016 in Business Insider’s global ranking. In 2012, Eduardo obtained the first position in the most awarded Creative leaders ranking in the Cannes Global Creativity Report and fifth position in 2017.
Over a career spanning more than 20 years, he’s worked at Pereira O’Dell, Ogilvy Brazil, DM9, RMG Connect, JWT Bahrain and Ogilvy Interactive and gathered more than 300 awards, including 38 Cannes Lions (three GP), ten London Awards, nine D&AD Pencils, 18 Clios (1 Grand Clio), 17 One Show Pencils, and GP at El Ojo, Wave and FIAP.
