It's virtually impossible to sit still during this delightfully zesty spot for Three Ireland, created by Dublin agency Boys + Girls and helmed by Mark Albiston through Sweetshop.
The film starts off in a fairly pedestrian manner depicting a typical conundrum of the stretched working mum – she has to go into the office and miss being with her young daughter at a party. Suddenly the spot takes a fun turn as a great toe-tapping track – Water Fountain by Tune-Yards – kicks in. The mum hurtles into virtual FaceTime-enabled jollity with her tot and engages in some serious bouncing and office-trashing.
Albiston said, “The idea for Bounce came from copywriter Kris Clarkin at Boys and Girls, who had a conversation with his daughter via FaceTime on a trampoline while on a work trip. Boys and Girls is a great team to collaborate with, and they got me involved pretty early on, so it was good to ‘bounce’ ideas around with them...”
