My Accomplice's Lily Rose Thomas directs this thought-provoking short film, in which three young women relive, regret and rationalise their relationship with alcohol.
From the lonely blonde grimly getting through a bottle of white wine on her own while drunk-dialling friends, to the partygoer sloshing vodka into her glass and collapsing on the nearest supportive shoulder, the film takes a long, hard look at why and how girls drink - and the mark that booze leaves behind, long after the party is over. In the cold light of day, standing in front of the bathroom mirror or stirring a strong coffee, the girls patch together their memories, sensations, fears, fantasies and emotions - and try to process them in the only way they can.
