This little cracker of a Christmas film for Lidl was created by Folk Finland and directed by Misko Iho through Directors Guild Helsinki.

At this time of year in adland, once the frenzy of festive spots from JL and other big hitters has passed, one can get to feel an almost post-Christmas bleugh, as if one’s over stuffed oneself with the gaseous sprouts of Yuletide marketing and simply can’t face another fairy-light fuelled, jingley-bell jingled spot.

But this sweet story will have you a-wassailing and donning your reindeer ears in no time. It’s beautifully directed by Misko, an LA-based native Finn repped through Stink London in the UK and Interrogate in the US. He comments: “This kind of simple but impactful story is the reason why I love filmmaking so much.”
