Holt to join Digitas, as new executive line up is revealed
Digitas’ UK CEO Dani Bassil has announced that Matt Holt is to join her new executive team as chief strategy officer UK from the end of January.
Holt [above], who will report into Bassil, is a marketing strategist with depth in customer experience, digital and data and had a track record of delivering the highest quality of thinking for a diverse range of clients including BA, GSK, EY, Nestlé and American Express.
At Digitas Holt will be responsible for developing the agency’s strategic capability, working with key clients and building out the connected marketing offering, alongside other key players in the agency. The announcement marks a sea change seen in recent months at Digitas under the leadership of Bassil, and follows the recent news of Emma De La Fosse’s appointment as chief creative officer to kick start a new era of executive leadership.
At the same time Gregor McQuattie and Rafe Blandford, currently part of the Digitas family, will be promoted to managing director and the newly created position of chief product officer (CPO), respectively. The new team will all be in place from February 2019, with McQuattie and Blandford taking up their new roles with immediate effect.
