BT has kicked off the launch of its 2020/21 football season with a campaign featuring a host of stellar football names.
Showcasing BT's new, flexible TV offering, with customers able to enjoy ‘unlimited substitutions’ on football packages, the spot centres around a fictional proposal to allow unlimited substitutions in matches.
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti spreads the discord by photographing and sharing the memo and we then witness stars such as Marcus Rashford, Trent Alexander Arnold, Gary Lineker, Jamie Vardy and a clever cameo from current Real Madrid bench-warmer, Gareth Bale, reacting to the news.
The spot, which investigates an alternative football reality, was created by Saatchi & Saatchi London and directed by Riff Raff’s Rich Hall.
