Taking more than a little inspiration from a certain Mr Ted Lasso (itself spun off from a series of ads, and thus the circle is complete), Joe Public's latest film for SA fast food chain Chicken Licken, Undefeated Since Forever, is nonetheless entertaining, utilising Greg Gray's mastery of storytelling to create a complete and convincing mockumentary.
With lovely touches like the unique hand-hold defence, cracking straight-to-camera testimonials and a genuinely funny pay-off at the end, the Romance Films director once again shows how adept he is at spinning a yarn.
