The shortlist for CICLOPE Festival 2019 has just been announced.
The jury –that comprises top producers and creatives from all over the world– chose, among more than 1,000 entries, the best works in each category, which will compete for CICLOPE's one-eyed trophies. Complete shortlists are online HERE. All finalists will be screened at Kino International, in Berlin, during CICLOPE Festival, on November 8 & 9.
The shortlist is a selection based on the scores given by the Executive Jury and the Grand Jury during the first round of judging –held online–, and the winners of this year's regional shows: CICLOPE Africa, CICLOPE Latino and CICLOPE Asia.
Winners will be defined by the Executive Jury during an in-person judging session, where the panel will deliver one Bronze, one Silver and one Gold trophy in each category, and may award a Grand Prix per section.
The Executive Jury will be chaired by Dinah Rodriguez, Executive Producer at Park Pictures; Robin Shenfield, Co-Founder and CEO at The Mill; and Seth Wilson, Managing Director and Executive Producer at Somesuch. You can find the complete list of jurors HERE.
The winners will be announced in the Awards Ceremony at Delphi Filmpalast, on November 8th, at 8.00 pm, after two days of inspiring talks & panels by the likes of Ellen Kuras, Traktor, David Kolbusz (Droga5 London), Damir Maric (Mercedes-Benx), David Rolfe (BBDO) and directors Miles Jay, Sheila Johansson and Ian Pons Jewell, among many others.
