Director Tom Merilion Joins HLA
The versatile director is know for his cinematographic style and compelling stories.
Hla is very excited to announce that Tom Merilion has joined their directing roster. He has just returned from Tanzania where he has been directing a documentary project and shooting a photographic campaign for the Cheka Sana Foundation, a project that helps street children. At the same time his new music video ‘Said and Done’ for Morcheeba’s lead singer, Skye Edward’s is released through Pledge Music. Tom’s haunting images of two dancers on the back of a truck as it thunders along the motorway at night, is a must see.
With a catalogue of exceptional TV commercials under his belt from the original Jamie Oliver Sainsbury’s ads through to beautifully shot HSBC ‘Bruichladdich’. There is also a wealth of music video and photographic work now on the HLA website along with some of Tom’s photographic work from his recent Tanzania project.
