Director/Cameraman Domenic Mastrippolito and Executive Producer, Roy Skillicorn have teamed up, expanding Seed Media Arts' capabilities and operations as Mastrippolito joins the directorial roster. Seed's new production headquarters have moved to Mastrippolito's Santa Monica offices and will be helmed by Executive Producer, Tim Ward.

"Roy and I have a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion for the art of making commercials.  This is going to be fun," states Mastrippolito.

After years as an extremely successful commercial director, being nominated for Best Director by the Directors Guild, winning both Emmys and Clios, Mastrippolito ventured into shooting 2nd unit on features like "Davinci Code" and "Spiderman," and TV shows, including "Modern Family." "It's a rush to be involved in such huge productions, but it's also very time consuming and many times less creative than working in commercials," relates Mastrippolito.

Between longer format assignments, he continued working on spots for Hershey's, Olay Definity, P&G, Hoover and, recently, a large package for the NFL promoting the 2017 Super Bowl.

"Returning full time to my first passion, commercials, is an exciting prospect for me, both professionally and personally," Mastrippolito comments.  "I have four children now, the youngest being six, and we are currently foster parents for an adorable two year old. This is the kind of life experience that recharges me and provides mountains of material for expression; for instance, the manner in which I visualize and shoot kids' vignettes is now with a different creative POV than in the past."

"Domenic has an incredible eye and an uncanny ability to capture authenticity in his film's message. His wholesome personal character and his interest and love for family combine with his exceptional communication skills and filmmaking talents to deliver work that fits well with blue chip brands," says Skillicorn.

Mastrippolito began his career as a cinematographer in Hawaii, shooting sailing and surfing films. He landed his first directing assignments when he was 24 years old and was quickly recognized, on a national scale, shooting huge campaigns for United, Budweiser, P&G, Clorox, Canon, Taco Bell, DirectTV and many more.
