Palma Pictures announce that Dougal Meese is joining us as Executive Producer in UK & Eire, based in London.

Meese is a highly experienced and award-winning producer and executive producer with over twenty years' experience in advertising commercials, music videos and branded content. He has worked with a huge range of directors from first timers to Academy Award winners and has worked at many of the established production companies such as Smuggler, Somesuch, Caviar, PrettyBird and Stink in the UK and US.

He has also collaborated with many major brands such as Nike, Louis Vuitton, Converse, Honda, Samsung, Mercedes and Lancome, bringing his many skills to bear across a wide range of high-profile content during his career.

Meese will be a great addition to Palma Pictures team of EPs, including Nancy Kagan (USA, East Coast), Peter Steinzeig (USA, West Coast), Nina Alkan (Scandinavia) Stephanie Marrou (France, Belgium & Italy), Alex Grossman (UK & Eire) and Kristyna Podolska (Eastern Europe).

He will work closely with Production Teams across Spain and Portugal and bring his wealth of experience (having shot on almost every continent!) to his role at Palma Pictures. Meese comments that: “What attracted me to Palma Pictures were the people involved and the potential of their offering. Palma has an established base on Mallorca, but also service mainland Spain, Portugal and the Canaries, all with the same professional and collaborative attitude to production. This pragmatic approach can be applied to all levels of production across the full spectrum of the modern advertising industry. It is this message I’m keen to convey and build our client base with further great work.”

Mike Day, Palma Pictures CEO, said: "What a score. It is fabulous that Dougal will be joining our team and we are very much looking forward to tapping into his production smarts and obvious energy.  Aside from that, he is a great guy!  With him and Alex working side by side, our focus on the UK and Irish advertising markets goes from strength to strength."
