The Dawn of Life exhibit first opened in October, but was closed shortly thereafter because of Covid restrictions. Now re-opening, the exhibition contains a collection of nearly 1,000 fossil specimens dating from billions of years ago.
The campaign created by Toronto agency Broken Heart Love Affair, features an eerie film directed by agency CDs Spencer Ryan and Jordan Hamer that conveys the great mysteries of life’s evolution.
The film brilliantly captures a young boy’s sense of wonder as he visits the gallery and touches an ancient rock. At his touch, another version of himself appears representing his inner thoughts that whisper a flurry of questions: “How old is life itself?” “Where did we come from?” “Did all life begin the same?”
The ad ends with the tagline, ‘Every answer uncovers more questions'.
