Overheated moggies and motors, melting flip flops, parched pools and crispy-faced blokes ablaze, this TVC for the ½ Million coffee shop chain is an incredibly cool representation of heat.
Helmed by Egyptian director Amr Hadad, with – literally – smokin’ photography from DP Tarek Hefny, the film is titled Sun Kissed and promotes the brand's new range of cooling drinks and puddings in its Saudi Arabia market.
A witty script outlines the cruel sun’s tendency to "warp the concept of solid" and ends with an entreaty to "cold shoulder the heat" with the help of the iced treats.
