Taken from the Korean American alt-pop newcomer’s latest EP, Where Have All the Flowers Gone?, the song expresses what it is like to dream of your heart’s desires then wake up to a reality that woefully fails to live up to them.
Visualising Deb Never roused from her slumbers to find a couple of bird-of-paradise flowers growing out of her cardiac area, the engagingly surreal promo, which was produced by Caviar, is full of strangeness and charm.
The director comments: “the concept of the film is pretty simple; nurture yourself in a world that wants you to conform, and chase your potential even if it is scary.”
