SMUGGLER director Ebeneza Blanche has let Ramsey take control of the narrative by asking the questions the press don’t ask him, resulting in a quirky, cinematic and beautifully styled short exploring the athlete’s life and career.
Appearing as both the host and guest at his own interview, Ramsey reveals his childhood inspirations and his path to greatness. The film, titled A Hero's Journey, is enriched by nostalgic flashbacks and some dapper vintage and modern-day Gucci threads.
The Gucci suitcase is also a staple part of Ramsay’s life, filled with objects that encourage him along his path.
