As the sun finally rears its head in the UK, brands across the drinks industry begin to tap into the typical summer advertising tropes.

Cider brand Kopparberg, however, is ditching its usual tricks with this vibrant summer spot which feels more like a fashion film than an alcohol ad, created by Neverland in collaboration with skin cancer charity the Melanoma Fund. 

Through hazy, joyful visuals brought to life by Biscuit Filmworks director Molly Manners, the spot sees a gang of friends applying vast amounts of suntan lotion and tripling up their sunglasses, playfully emphasising the importance of drinking responsibly in the sun.
