Not content with dominating cinema screens with its superhero shenanigans, Marvel has hit the mobile market with card-battle game Marvel Snap; teaming up with JVKE and DJ Martin Garrix to create a multiverse-spanning branded promo by way of celebration.
Taking us on a trip through some of Marvel's most beloved couples - Black Panther & Storm, Rogue & Gambit, Spidey & MJ, Daredevil & Electra, Vision & Wanda - Hero takes its cues from a variety of animation forms, with anime and 90's cel sitting alongside 8-bit and comic book.
Masterfully conducted by directors Tim McCourt and Max Taylor through The Line, the film does a remarkable job of paying fan-service to genre-favourites, promoting the range of card artwork found in the game and tying itself together with a sweet snapshot of desire.
