Uber Content Adds Director Molly Schiot to Roster

Director Molly Schiot, now with with Uber Content, works in a range of media.

Los Angeles-based Uber Content has added Director Molly Schiot to its roster for worldwide commercial representation.

Schiot's various creative endeavors have led to sold-out exhibitions of her paintings and drawings, music videos for the likes of The Raveonettes and Mark Ronson and commercials for Nokia, Converse, Trident, and Levi's. She's also a regular contributor to Paper Magazine's "Check You Out" video series, with her films, featuring Los Angeles personalities such as Malin Akerman, Devendra Banhart, and the comedy duo ThunderAnt (Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein from the IFC series "Portlandia"). Recently Schiot completed a branded film for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's JC Penney clothing line, Olsenboye.

Uber Content Partner/Executive Producer Phyllis Koenig has this to say about the addition: "Molly joining Uber is a complete joy for me, because her work invokes so much heart and playfulness all at once. The fact that she's been working in both new media and traditional advertising for several years was just a bonus. I'm so excited about the ad community embracing her style of work. Molly is infectious and is as much a filmmaker as she is a spotmaker, so she fits right into today's world of art-meets-commerce."

Raised in a small New Hampshire town, Schiot's artistic calling led her to the Glasgow School of Art, and then on to Brown University. From there, she leaped into the world of commercials, music videos and film. She was most recently repped in the US by East Pleasant Pictures.
