Heineken’s perfect holiday gift… to give yourself

We’ve all suffered that disappointing Christmas present experience – you’ve spent months hinting at what you really want but instead you end up with the same old socks and slippers combo.

Well, this year Heineken have set out to change that with a new Facebook app. As well as introducing the BeerTender - a home draught beer system – in order that you don’t look selfish in the season of giving by buying one for yourself, Wieden + Kennedy NY have also created the BeerFriender app. Hosted on Facebook, it sets you up with a stranger who’s also after a BeerTender, so that you can gift each other without people being any the wiser.
