Lockdown living has seen many filmmakers explore experiences of isolation, but few have managed to capture the desperation of shared solitude as well as filmmaker Talia Shea Levin.
Shot around LA on 16mm, ISOLATIONS voyeuristically (in the best possible way) captures a series of performers giving their all into an expressive routine from MUDA / Maritza Navarro.
Backed by the bittersweetly optimistic It’s Not Much Longer Now from Amanda Leigh Jerry, the film is an impressive and impactful rendition of loneliness and restrained emotion.
