Murashige Puts DNA to the Test
Director Steven Murashige joins DNA after spending many years with the Artist Company.
Prolific in Both Commercials and Music Videos, Steven Murashige Moves to DNA

David Naylor & Associates (DNA, Inc.) has added director Steven Murashige to its roster for commercials and music videos.
For Murashige, joining DNA brings him back to his music video roots. Murashige established himself in the video world with work for Incubus, Sugar Ray, and Jack's Mannequin. DNA continues to lead the genre with a recent eight VMA nominations for 2012.
Murashige reflects, "As I turn the last page, closing an incredible era with The Artists Company, I now begin a new and exciting chapter of my career with DNA. My choice to join DNA was not only predicated upon their track record, the quality of their work and the impressive stable of directors, but also upon a great vibe from the people who make up the company…a key factor for me. Their solid presence in both commercials and music videos was also an important component, as I'd like to stay close to my music video roots. All in all, the future looks bright."
Murashige was a powerhouse with Target's advertising from 2006 through 2009, firmly establishing the brand's tight graphic look with such classics as "Hello/Goodbye," "Gift Card" and "Home Decor". Since then, Murashige has worked with Vanguard Financial, Payless, Lenscrafters, Nicktoons, and other clients.
"DNA has a strongly established visual identity, Steven's aesthetic is a perfect fit with our collective vision." President of DNA David Naylor further explains, "Steven is a strong image maker and lifestyle director, highly unique, he's a valuable addition to our roster."
