Director/editor Paul Crowder’s documentary feature “Amazing Journey: The Story of the Who” goes theatrical, broadcast and into DVD release in quick succession.

After theatrical premieres in New York, LA and London with Paul Crowder and The Who band mates Roger Daltrey and Pete Towshend in attendance and exclusive commercial free TV broadcasts on VH1 And MTV’s hi-def music channel MHD days later, “Amazing Journey: The Story of The Who” goes immediately to US DVD release on Tuesday, November 6th and theatrical release in the UK.

Spanning over four decades, “Amazing Journey” follows The Who from the band’s earliest days, through tragedy and triumph, break up and reconciliation. The film features new interviews with Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend and rare and recently discovered concert footage. Additional artists’ interviews include U2's the Edge, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Sting, and Oasis' Noel Gallagher.

This is Crowder’s second director/editor gig following last year’s Tribeca Film Festival documentary “Once In A Lifetime” about the New York Cosmos. Paul is also the A.C.E Award winning editor of Stacy Peralta’s “Dogtown and Z-Boys” and “Riding Giants.”  At Nonfiction Spots Crowder’s commercial work includes spots he directed and edited for Twenty20 Bank in South Africa and a collaboration with director Stacy Peralta, also represented by Nonfiction, editing spots for Budweiser and NASCAR.
