Love takes many different forms, and in this ad out of Anomaly, facets of caring, desire, and family are explored in an emotional and cinematic short.
Creating a poignant ad with a large cast of characters means that one must have a strong concept. As a voice-over relates the different kinds of love, small, ordinary, complete scenes are acted out in Love Takes Action. There is nothing unfamiliar about the love we see - girls laughing on the ground, a grandfather teaching his kids, two lovers meeting for a kiss - but each one is beautiful and important in their own way.
The complete ad is a soft, filmic exploration of storytelling in a tight space, directed by Sanctuary Content’s Cole Webley. The tightness of each short moment is a great example of storytelling within contained, individual shots.
