Park Village hires Athene Parker as executive sales consultant
Parker makes a grand return back to her roots at Park Village.
Production company, Park Village, has bolstered its recent Marketing and PR drive with the announcement of another significant creative collaboration with Athene Parker, who re-joins the company as Executive Sales Consultant.
With over 20 years experience in the industry, having worked both in front of and behind the camera, Parker is both highly regarded and well connected in advertising and film production circles.
Her wide experience extends from Exec Producing at her former Music Video Company, Noughte Productions, before moving to Park Village in 2008 as the company’s Head of Sales. Athene then went on to work as HOS at Another Film Company and Biscuit Filmworks. More recently she was at Jungle Studios as Executive Sales Consultant, further widening her industry knowledge and contacts.
Athene comments on returning after 11 years, “Coming back to Park Village as an Exec Sales Consultant, to expand and support the current Sales department, is a bit like coming full circle, but with 11 years worth of extra skills. I love Tom’s passion for the company, constantly working to improve and expand, and with a blinding roster of directors, it’s a bit of a dream for me. With directors like Harry Bradbeer, Freshteh, Chris Turner and Sil and Jorik to name a few - there’s also a very healthy ratio of four female directors on the roster, quietly addressing one of the underlying problems in our industry.”
Park Village Managing Director, Tom Webb, adds, “I’m really looking forward to working with Athene again, she has a wealth of experience and an infectious energy. She is returning to the company at a time where we have an exciting and growing roster and her skill set will be a great addition to the team.” “Alongside the venerated production side of the business, Park Village Studios has really evolved since I was last here and there are now 3 thriving studios for film and photographic hire as well as for hosting lots of cool events and exhibitions."
“Park Village is steeped in history but this new and improved 21st century incarnation, with the level of talent that they have is super exciting and I’m very happy to be back in the building," Athene finishes.
Athene will support Park Village’s existing Head of New Business, Isaac Tomiczek in her new role.
