Created using Unreal Engine 5, this beautifully animated short film directed by Damian Misiura through Platige Image, tells a dynamic and heartwarming Christmas story with an intergalactic twist.
Whilst roaming through space, the crew of the Platige Image spacecraft suddenly receive a call for help, and a new course is set immediately. Moments later, a vehicle in the shape of the Platige Image logo lands on the burning sands of a boundless desert inhabited by bizarre creatures, and the rescue mission begins.
When the ship eventually reaches its destination, it turns out that the signal was sent by a robot, with the content of the message being part of its letter to Santa Claus. In a heartfelt closing scene, the crew grant the little robot’s Christmas wish to see snow by taking him to the North Pole, where he looks upon a twinkling Christmas tree surrounded by the Northern Lights.
