To celebrate 300 years of New Orleans' iconic Mardi Gras carnival - a festival which traces its roots back to medieval Europe - the city's tourist board has commissioned this breathtaking film.
Directed by Biscuit's Rachel McDonald and produced by Tool, the film is a sensory delight, shimmering with shots of colourful beads, revelry and feasting (you can almost feel the numbing tang of rainbow-hued shaved ice on your tongue), intercut with glimpses of crumbling cemeteries, where little girls in white dresses wander.
Overlaid with the atmospheric words of Maya Angelou's Still I Rise, it perfectly captures the mystery, joy and pageantry of Fat Tuesday. Now, where did we put our passport?
