Radar’s new ‘one-stop’ music content commissioning service just launched, creating opportunities on the powerful networking platform for more creatives, from illustrators to graphic designers, gif makers to website designers.
Record labels, managers and artists can now commission everything they might need for music marketing campaigns, from album art, tour posters, gifs, stage visuals, 360 videos and artist websites.
“As fan platforms continue to proliferate, record labels, managers and artists in our network have an increasing need for visual content - so we’re expanding to meet that need” says Caroline Bottomley, Radar’s MD. “We’re scouting up & coming, talented content creators worldwide, with the same promise we make to talented directors - we’ll help you build your portfolio and we’ll help you reach the next stage of your career”
Radar has always focused on career development, making the most of strong ties in the industry. Every year Radar alumni sign to commercial reps & production companies and 2016 has been a particularly bumper year. Director Bob Gallagher, winner of this year’s inaugural Radar Awards, is the new star turn at leading London production company Good Egg. Many of the shortlisted directors are now in conversations with reps and agents - one of them, Rafe Jennings also went on to win the ‘Best Newcomer’ director award at the prestigious UKMVAs, for his Radar commissioned ‘Take Me Dancing’ for Warner Music’s Will Joseph Cook.
