Written and narrated by Christopher Tse, this powerful piece is a poetic dive into the culture, beauty, and strength of the Asian-Canadian community.

Featuring cultural scenes from across Canadian-Asian cultures; Taiko Drums from Japanese groups, Chinatown entrances, Korea Town favorites, and Little Saigon shops, this PSA celebrates all aspects of the Canadian-Asian community. Featuring pillars of local communities, many Canadians who watch this PSA will recognize the people, athletes, and leaders featured. With sharp editing and an unflinching addition of contemporary footage and archival photos, Eyes Open is an emotive visual and narrative meditation that ties together a history of racism, resilience, and belonging.

With support from the Chinese Canadian National Council for Social Justice, Eyes Open was directed by Tony Edgar and produced by SA Media
