This stylish campaign for Dior x Kim Jones Fall 2021 men’s collection was directed by Jason Yan Francis.
As young men walk across the screen, the augmented angle and perspective shifts make the film a fascinating piece of editing. The clothing’s exceptionally vibrant patterns are taken from Kenny Schwarf’s acidic artwork. As bags appear on fire, silhouettes are cut out, and different layers are pasted over the models. The effect is wonderfully modern, giving the piece a fresh feel without feeling overwhelming.
The agency for the film was CKR Zurik, and Hugo Marcel served as the Director of Production.
